Bitmain released ant Mining machine L3 series at the end of 2016, equipped with its own Litecoin chip BM1485. The BM1485 was the first litecoin ASIC and was a useful chip for litecoin miners. Each Litecoin mining machine is equipped with 288 of these chips to provide higher hash rates and efficiency. The Antminer L3 series includes three models: Antminer L3 (250Mh/s and power consumption 400W), Antminer L3+ (500Mh/s and 800W), Antminer L3++ (580Mh/s and 942W). Litecoin miners are also known as Scryptminers. In addition to litecoin mining, the mining machine also works with any cryptocurrency based on Scrypt.
